Origin
Nick Wayne grew up between London's busy streets and the quiet Scottish Highlands. He went to the USA for college and a Master's, and stayed to build Fire Empire, a company that unites many small brands under one flame. On the night the Empire's first warehouse lights were switched on, a meteor shower lit the Atlanta sky and one ember-gold fragment landed in his open hand. It did not burn him; it recognised him. The Ember Core fused with his heart, and from that night every brand, every team and every hero who joined the Empire added their light to his. He is the hero who holds the power of the whole Empire.

Stakes
Pyrarch has no weakness, so his stories turn on choices, not on whether he can win. He protects people first and treats every rescue as more important than any fight. He chooses which battles matter, and often steps back so a younger hero can grow. He is the mentor who trains the whole team. The drama is never 'can he win?', it is 'who will he choose to save first, and what will he teach them?'.
Sidekick
Cinder, a small fire-salamander pup with ember-gold spots and a glowing tail tip that flickers when he is happy.
Villain
The Smotherer, Mortimer Dampwick, a grey-coated inventor who builds fog machines that snuff out every spark of creativity in a city; comic and redeemable.
Costume
a tailored flame-orange fabric hero suit cut like a luxury racing jacket and trousers (fabric, not armour), flame-red side panels, ember-gold piping and gold flame patterns rising from the cuffs and boots, a high collar, a slim gold belt with the Kindle Crown buckle, slim charcoal boots with gold soles (charcoal under 10% of the look); no cape, cowl, mask, chest light, armour plates, bat or wing shapes.
Episodes (every episode opens with a true fact)
- Episode 1. True fact: A single lightning bolt can carry about a billion joules of energy. Nick Wayne holds the Ember Core in his palm for the first time and the Atlanta skyline lights up building by building. Next: Far away, forty-one other people look up as their own lights begin to glow.
- Episode 2. True fact: The Sun turns about four million tonnes of matter into energy every second. A ferry loses power in a storm. Pyrarch could lift it alone, but he lets a young hero, Ionara, guide it home while he keeps the passengers warm. Next: A grey fog rolls over the harbour and every spark in the city starts to fade.
- Episode 3. True fact: A candle flame is hottest in its faint blue part, not the bright yellow tip. The Smotherer's fog snuffs out the city's lights. Pyrarch lights a single candle and hands it to a child, and the whole crowd lights theirs from it. Next: Forty-one heroes answer the light. Episode 1 of the Fire Empire Universe begins.
